Bishop Stephen L. Pulliam Sr.
Bishop Stephen L. Pulliam Sr. was born on January 12th 1963 in Detroit, Michigan to Reynard A. and Geraldine Pulliam. He is the second child of eleven children born to this union. During his early years he was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ at Clinton Street Greater Bethlehem Temple in Detroit, Michigan. On November 13, 1983 at First Apostolic Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana under the leadership of his father Bishop Reynard A. Pulliam, he received the Gift of the Holy Ghost.
Bishop Pulliam began working in the house of the Lord doing whatever he could find his hands to do. He ministered in the Kitchen, Choir, Young Peoples Department, Brotherhood, Missionary, Security, Christian Education Department, Baptismal Committee, Van Driver and many other duties in the church. It was in the year of 1990 that Bishop Pulliam was called to the ministry to preach and teach the Word of God. In 1992 Bishop Pulliam was elevated to Asst. Pastor at Greater Bethlehem Temple Church of Georgia. In August of 1995 at the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith (PCAF) National Convention, Bishop Pulliam was elevated to an ordained Elder. In 2010 Bishop Pulliam was elevated to Pastor of Greater Bethlehem Temple Church of Atlanta. In 2012 Bishop Pulliam was appointed secretary of the United Pastors Alliance of the PCAF. In 2016 Bishop Pulliam was elected Director of the International United Pastors Alliance of the PCAF. In June of 2020, Bishop Pulliam was appointed Administrator of the Office of the Pastors Alliance (OPA) of the Christian Apostolic Fellowship of Churches International, Inc. In December of 2020, Bishop Pulliam was elected Chairman of the Apostolic Alliance of Georgia. In May of 2021, Bishop Pulliam was consecrated to the Office of Episcopal Bishop of the Christian Apostolic Fellowship of Churches International, Inc. and appointed Assistant Treasurer of the Christian Apostolic Fellowship of Churches International, Inc. By the leading of the Lord, on September 3, 2023 Greater Bethlehem Temple Church of Atlanta’s name was changed to “Reconciliation of Life Ministries” for God hath given to us a ministry of reconciliation! In addition, Bishop Pulliam has been working for the Department of Homeland Security/Transportation Security Administration since 2002 where he is a Transportation Security Inspector serving as the Lead Inspector to the busiest airport in the world, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. He is married to Evangelist Deborah A. Pulliam, and they have five wonderful children and three grandchildren.
